At the end of a private tree lined drive, in a south facing hollow, stand The Roundhouse, Beech, Ash, Pond Meadow and Little Leighs - cottages converted from 18th Century farm buildings. The three acre grounds include attractive lawned gardens with picnic tables and barbecues, a large playing field with swings, perfect for children to get together and let off steam in safety, and a copse for the excercising of dogs.

This is a haven for walkers or those who want the tranquillity of the countryside, yet be within a few minutes drive of delightful North Coast beaches. Widemouth Bay and Crackington Haven are both within a short drive. The former is ideal for surfing. For eating out, The local pub, garage and general store is within three miles, but for a greater selection of shops and restaurants Bude is approximately 10 miles away. Here, there is a popular golf course in close proximity to the beach and during the summer there are a wide variety of seasonal attractions. Other places to visit along the coast are Boscastle, Tintagel, Port Isaac, Padstow and Clovelly. The cottages are central for large areas of National Trust coastal walks, just a few miles from the rugged Bodmin Moor and within easy reach of numerous lakes and reservoirs with water sports, fishing and nature reserves.

Inside the cosy cottages there are open beamed ceilings (an occasional peril for those over 5'10"). The furnishings are comfortable with floral fabrics enhancing honey pine furniture and wood burning stoves set in granite fireplaces. The cottages are served by a private water supply.
