Little Leighs

Little Leighs is on the far right of the cottages and has the two Velux windows on the right hand side being for the double and twin bedrooms on the first floor. The cottage has a further twin bedroom on the ground floor along with the main living/dining area, kitchen and shower room. The living room also has an open fire for those cooler evenings and is furnished with comfortable cottage style armchairs and sofa, together with a television. The kitchen has oven, hob, microwave, refrigerator, washer/dryer and hopefully all the kitchen utensils you could possibly need for your stay.

The beams are still relatively low in this cottage, but those under 6’2” are safe albeit for the slightly lower doorways.

As with the other cottages at the front, Little Leighs has been rated at the top end of three stars by ETC and is suitable for couples through to families of up to six people. Having a twin bedroom on the ground floor makes this cottage accessible for those who have difficulties with stairs. There is a small private garden with seating to the front of the cottage, where you can sit in the sunshine and enjoy the peace and quiet.

We do allow one large or up to two small dogs to stay in this cottage. All breeds are welcome, once they have passed puppy training, but we ask that dogs are not left unattended in the cottage and that they are kept on a lead around the cottage gardens. There is a small copse at the rear of the cottages where your dog can be exercised.

Another relaxing week’s hols, after 18 years this place still has it.

The cottage was even better than we expected.

This year we stayed in Little Leighs for a change. Just as good and Lorraine and Geoff’s’ hospitality as great as ever. Trenannick rules!

Ground Floor - Entrance porch. Living room with wood-burning stove, colour TV and DVD player. Dining area. Kitchen with electric cooker, hob and microwave oven. Fridge and automatic washer/dryer. Shower room with WC and wash basin. Bedroom 1 with twin beds.

First Floor - Bedroom 2 with double bed. Bedroom 3 with twin beds.

*NB: Downstairs bedroom and easy access to the shower makes this cottage suitable for the partially disabled.

All Cottages - Inclusive: Bed Linen (duvets). Cot and high-chair. First basket of logs and bucket of coal. Night storage heaters in bedrooms. Garden furniture and barbecues.
