| Ash Cottage | | |
Ash Cottage is the stone fronted cottage to the right of Beech and has a more conventional layout, with a double and a twin bedroom on the first floor and the main living/dining room, kitchen and shower room being on the ground floor. As with all the other cottages, Ash has an open fire in the living room, which keeps the whole cottage very warm no matter what the weather is like outside. The living room is furnished with cottage style armchairs and sofa with the obligatory television. The kitchen has oven, hob, microwave, refrigerator, washer/dryer and hopefully all the kitchen utensils you could possibly need for your stay. The low beam which runs through Beech hallway continues across the dining area in Ash as do the lowish beams on the ground floor, where the peril level decreases from that of Beech, to those over 6’2”. Ash Cottage is also rated at the top end of three stars by ETC and is suitable for couples through to families of up to four people. There is a small private garden with seating to the front of the cottage, where you can sit in the sunshine and enjoy the peace and quiet. This cottage is one of our two pet free cottages along with Pond Meadow.
